Started in Horsham in 2017 by James Robson, JR Removals is a family business that grew up. Triple-accredited, fully insured, refreshingly human about the whole thing – and still answering its own phone.
What we do

James Robson started JR Removals in 2017 from a single van outside his parents’ house in Kingsfold. The job was simple: do removals the way he wished other firms had done his – turn up on time, be careful with the stuff, be straight about the price.
Eight years on, we run a fleet from the yard in Kingsfold, employ a permanent crew, and move families and businesses across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, the rest of the UK and into Europe. The van count went up. The way we move people didn’t change.

James Robson: Owner-operator. Started the business himself, still does the surveys, picks the routes, and answers the phone when the office is closed.
