Do I need a survey before getting a quote?

Yes. Every quote follows a free survey, at your home or by video. After the survey, your quote is fixed and in writing. For larger or more complex jobs, James or the team may arrange to do the survey in person to confirm volumes before committing to a number.

What information do I need to get a quote?

Collection address, destination address, property size (number of bedrooms helps), rough moving date, and any items that need special handling such as a piano, antiques, or large garden furniture. The more detail you give us, the more accurate the quote.

Do you quote for long-distance and Scotland moves?

Yes. The Scotland corridor is a weekly run from Horley. We quote for moves from Surrey, Sussex, and Kent to Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Highlands, and all Scottish mainland postcodes on the same fixed-price basis. Submit the form with your destination postcode. We will book a free survey, at home or by video, then send a fixed, written quote.

Can I change my moving date after the quote is confirmed?

In most cases, yes. Call or WhatsApp the office on 01293 988007 as early as possible if your completion date shifts, and we will do what we can to hold your crew allocation at the new date.
